How to install a custom Posterous theme

1. From your Posterous homepage, click "Settings" at the top right, above your list of posts. |

2. Under the "Look and Feel" section, click Edit Theme. |

3. Click Advanced tab on the top left side of the page. |

4. Click the link that says Enable advanced themeing. |

5. You will be prompted to save your new theme. Give it a name and click OK. |

6. Select all of the code in the editor block, then ERASE it. |

7. Paste the contents of the theme txt file that you downloaded.(Get themes from posterize.us)If the theme contents opened directly in your browser (if the code starts with <xml): Select All and Copy the contents to your clipboard. OR if the theme file in .txt format... ON A PC:

8. (Optional) Click Preview these changes to see what your blog will look like with the new theme, before making changes public. |

9. At the bottom of the page, click "Save, I'm done!" then OK at the prompt. You will be taken to your Posterous where you should see the new theme applied. |
